Mr. Pasquale “Pat” DiCiaccio, a longtime resident of Winchester and beloved husband of the late Carmella (Bianca) “Connie” DiCiaccio, passed away at his home on Friday morning, April 28, 2023. He was 92 years old.
Born in Somerville, Massachusetts, on November 28, 1930, he was the beloved son of the late Salvatore E. and Maria Annuziata (Magliozzi) DiCiaccio. Pat was a US Navy veteran, entering the military on July 8, 1952 and received his honorable discharge on May 10, 1954.
In civilian life, Pat was retired from Polaroid as a Mechanical Engineer. In his spare time he enjoyed traveling with his wife, remodeling his home, and reminiscing with friends and family. He loved being outdoors and his very favorite place was Lake Sunapee in New Hampshire. Above all, Pat loved spending time with his daughter’s, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.
Pat is survived by his loving daughter’s; Mona DiCiaccio and her companion, John Ford of Lexington and Jill Hegel of Arlington and her companion, Richard Burke of Lynn, sister; Phyllis Lyons of Winchester, grandchildren; Lisa, Lillian and Gregory and his wife Brittanie, great-grandchildren; Ava and Gus and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Frank DiCiaccio and Mary Toscano and brother-in-law of the late Moe Lyons, Nancy DiCiaccio and Frank Toscano.
His funeral service will be celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 1 PM. Visitation will be held in the funeral home, prior to the service, from 10 AM to 1 PM. Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Arlington.
