Susan F. Smith, 82, of Stillwater Road, Smithfield, passed away on Wednesday April 26th in the Hebert Nursing Home in Smithfield.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Russell and Ella (Lawrence) Smith. She had lived in Smithfield for her entire life.
Susan had been a Keypunch Operator for the former Industrial National Bank before she retired.
Susan loved spending time with her family and the many friends she made at Hebert Nursing Home. She enjoyed making homemade crafts and playing card games. She was also an avid Elvis fan.
She leaves her sister Marion Barton of Smithfield, 2 nephews, Gerald Smith of Smithfield and Robert Barton of Pascoag, a niece, Marion Coleman of Greenville and a great-niece, Amanda Faiola of Pascoag and a great-nephew, Robert Ferrante of Smithfield. She also leaves many great-great nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday May 2nd at 10am at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visitation will be Monday from 4-6pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
