Lisa Margaret (Crawford) Cook, 59, of Woonsocket, died April 24 after a long illness at her home with her beloved family beside her.
Born in Framingham, December 30, 1963, the daughter of Martha J. (Hall) DeGiacomo and her husband Dr. William DeGiacomo of Norton and the late Donald G. Crawford, Lisa was raised in Bellingham and had lived in Woonsocket for the past five years.
She was a graduate of Mount St. Charles Academy.
Lisa has been a teacher’s aide at the Bellingham Memorial Middle School in Bellingham. Lisa was also a receptionist at Imperial Chrysler in Mendon.
She enjoyed watching cooking shows and horror movies. She also enjoyed listening to rock ‘n’ roll music, loved animals, celebrating Christmas, which was her favorite holiday, spending time with friends and family, making people laugh with her contagious smile, spending time with her grandchildren and spoiling them meant the world to her.
In addition to her mother and step-father she is survived by her children, William Cook of Bellingham, Lucas Cook of Bellingham, Paige Cook of Woonsocket, Dallas Cook of Whitinsville and Rebecca Cook of Woonsocket.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Matthew Parker and Riley Cook.
Lisa is also survived by her Aunt and Godmother Elizabeth Porter and her husband David of Natick and her Aunt Nancy Perry of Wayland.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 4 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin at Noon. Burial will be in Edgell Grove Cemetery, Framingham.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00-Noon.
