Mr. Frank N. DiCiaccio, a resident of Cape Neddick, Maine and Arlington and beloved husband of the late Nancy (Guglietta) DiCiaccio, passed away at the Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln on Friday evening, April 21, 2023. He was 97 years old.
Born in Gaeta, Italy, on April 16, 1926, he was the beloved son of the late Salvatore E. and Maria A. (Magliozzi) DiCiaccio. Frank was a WWII Navy veteran, entering the milliatry at Arlington on June 9, 1944 and received his honorable discharge from Boston on June 7, 1946. He attained the Rank of Aerographer’s Mate, Second Class and was awarded the World War II Victory Medal, the American Theatre Medal and the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre Medal for his exemplary service.
In civilian life, Frank worked as an Art Director and later as an Art Teacher, for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling extensively with his beloved wife, Nancy and enjoyed fishing and painting. He also loved to spend time at his home in Cape Neddick, Maine. Frank could fix or build anything. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his loving siblings; Pasquale DiCiaccio of Winchester and Phyllis Lyons of Winchester and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Mary and her husband Frank Toscano and brother-in-law of the late Moe Lyons and Carmella “Connie” DiCiaccio.
