On April 21st, David Allen King, beloved husband, father, brother and friend passed away at the age of 68. He was the husband of Virginia (Frink) King for the past 33 years.
David was born in Framingham, MA to Dorothy (McLean) King (98) and the late Robert G. King on June 23, 1954. David was raised in Framingham and had lived in Bellingham for the past 28 years. David graduated Framingham South High School in 1972. He attended Berklee School of Music. He was a lifelong hard worker and retired in 2020.
David was known for his great personality and sense of humor. He always made those around him laugh and smile with his jokes.
He was a guitarist, and in several bands throughout his lifetime. He toured the country with his band “Wardell and the Undone”. He had a passion for music until the very end, always singing and dancing. David was an avid airplane enthusiast who had a passion for aircraft of any kind.
David was a two time cancer survivor and was unfortunately diagnosed with Alzheimers in
(2020). Through his many medical tribulations, David remained a positive and happy guy and lived to make those around him smile. He was a fighter and never complained about any medical issues he encountered.
In addition to his wife, David is survived by his daughter Shauna (King) Dangelo and her
husband Ethan Dangelo and his only grandchild Callie Dangelo of Bellingham.
He is survived by his mother Dorothy, sisters, Dawna Bosworth of Framingham MA and Carol
Hoyte and husband Dave Hoyte of Bellingham MA. Along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members and lifelong friends.
David will be deeply missed by all those who knew him and he has forever left such a
wonderful imprint on the world with his many talents and sense of humor.
A service in honor of David will be held at Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber Street in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) on Friday April 28th at 3PM.
