Leona Harriet (Heeps) Lincoln, 87, of Leicester MA, passed away on April 1, 2023 at St. Vincent’s Hospital.
Born in Oxford, Leona, lived 63 years of her life in Leicester, MA. She is predeceased by her parents Rita Childs and Leo Heeps, her husband of 27 years Almon L. (Abe) Lincoln and her eldest daughter Debra H. Brule, along with a brother, Leo Heeps, and sister, MaryAnn Boutin.
She is survived by her youngest sister, Sally Heeps, a daughter, Roberta J. Pelletier and her life-long partner, Christopher P. Pelletier, daughter, Sandra J. St. George and her husband Richard J. St. George, Jr, and son, Gordon A. Lincoln, all from MA along with many, many nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her 3 granddaughters, Amanda L. Cote and husband Chad R. Cote of FL, Felicia P. St. George and Meaghan I. St. George along with 2 great grandchildren, Silvia K. Cote and Theodore M. St. George, all from MA.
Leona was a 1953 graduate of Oxford High School and had many different jobs throughout her life before retiring in 1999 from The Hanover Groups formerly Allmerica Financial. Her hobbies included reading, latch-hooking and crocheting. She made many dolls and doilies which she shared with her family. One of her favorite activities was spending time with her family whom she loved dearly.
A calling hours will be held Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 6PM to 8PM at the Robert J. Miller Funeral Home, 366 School Street, Webster MA.
Burial will take place Friday, April 28, 2023 at North Cemetery, 505 Main Street, Oxford MA.
