SPENCER:Harry E. Hodgerney Jr, 45, of Spencer, passed away on Saturday, April 22nd after a valiant battle with cancer.
He is survived by his loving mother Sally Jean (Martin) Hodgerney, his sister Leslie M. Taylor and her husband Keith of Spencer, his four wonderful nephews Anthony M. Blash-Corbosiero and Michael J. Corbosiero, Jr and his partner Kathleen of Naples, FL., and Andrew L. and Christopher J. Murzycki of Spencer, his brother William R. Hodgerney of Spencer, and a great nephew Leighton Corbosiero of Naples, FL. He also leaves behind his closest childhood friends Ricky, Jeff and Stevo. He is predeceased by his father Harry Edward Hodgerney, Sr who passed away in 2009.
In his spare time, Harry was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved the outdoors, as well as all animals, especially his Iguanas. He thoroughly enjoyed sports and absolutely loved to read and watch movies. Many would also say he had a bit of a green thumb. More importantly, Harry was a kind and gentle person and loved by all who knew him. He asked for nothing and gave so much to his family.
Memorial calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 29th from 1:00-2:00 pm followed by a service at 2:00 pm.in the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jewish Home Hospice at 646 Salisbury St, Worcester, 01609.
