Mark A. Bouthot

TEWKSBURY: Mark A. Bouthot, age 61, a longtime resident of Tewksbury, passed away Thursday, April 20th, 2023, at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, following a brief illness.
He was the beloved husband of Diann (Moulton) Bouthot, with whom he celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary on June 11, 2022.
Born in Waterville, Maine on September 21, 1961, he was the son of the late Fernand Bouthot and the late Stella J. (Ayotte) Bouthot.
Mark was raised in Winslow, Maine, where he attended local schools. Following high school, he attended Northeastern University, where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree and met the love of his life, Diann.
Prior to his illness, Mark had been employed as a respiratory therapist at Brigham & Women’s Hospital since 1984.
In his spare time, Mark enjoyed coaching for the Tewksbury Youth Soccer program, serving as a Tewksbury Cub Scout Leader, cooking (many times without a recipe), maintaining the landscape of his home, as well as vacationing in Maine and Florida with his wife and family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Madelyn J. Bouthot, Megan E. Bouthot, and Alexander M. Bouthot and his wife Tessa: one brother, Fern Bouthot and his wife Judy: one sister, Rachael Carrier and her husband Bruce. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and friends.
The Bouthot family would like to thank the staff at Mass. General Hospital and the High Pointe Hospice House for the compassionate care provided to Mark.
Calling hours are Thursday, April 27th, from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury. A graveside service will be held Friday, April 28th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Cemetery, 90 River Road, Tewksbury. Please meet at the cemetery.
