William “Bill” Kenneth Boultenhouse, 61, of Bellingham formerly of Medway died April 18 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester following a brief illness. He was the husband of Kimberly J. (Blake) Boultenhouse for the past 30 years.
Born in Norwood, March 4, 1962, the son of the late Kenneth L. and Ann M. (Morrissey) Boultenhouse, Bill was raised in Medway and had lived in Bellingham for the past 30 years.
He was a graduate of Medway High School, Dean Junior College, and had also received his graduate degree in Criminal Justice from Western New England College.
Bill had been a police officer for the Town of Medway for 34 years, retiring in 2017 as Lieutenant. Bill was not one to sit around, since his retirement he became a driver for Medway Oil and a bartender at the Franklin Elks.
Bill enjoyed spending his time with his family and friends. He loved to golf, spend his time up at Lake Winnipesaukee, taking a ride on his motorcycle and boat, and having a cigar with his friends. He was a proud member of the Franklin Elks and the Friday Night Barn Crew.
In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his children, Brian Boultenhouse and his wife Katie-Lynn Boultenhouse of Waterville, Maine, Dan Boultenhouse of Laconia, New Hampshire, Shea Boultenhouse of Bellingham, as well as his grandson William Boultenhouse. Bill was very excited for his second grandson who is due to arrive in June.
He is also survived by his siblings, Paul Boultenhouse of Arizona, Janet Normandin and her husband Eric of Franklin and Diane (Dede) Boultenhouse-Santagate of Uxbridge, and many loving family members and lifelong friends.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway.
His funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 24 in St. Joseph Church, Medway at 10:30 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Medway following mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Medway Police or Medway Fire Associations.
