Curtis E. Moussie II, 78, of North Stonington died Tuesday, April 11, 2023.
Curtis was born in July of 1944 in Westerly RI. He grew up in North Stonington, and graduated from Norwich Free Academy. He worked at the family restaurant, Dew Drop Inn. From early on, Curtis enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and attending car shows. He served as an Army reservist, and was a volunteer fire fighter (life time member) in the town. In later years, after retiring from 27 years of employment at Pfizer, he enjoyed bird-watching. Curtis loved his country, and reading and quoting Bible passages.
In addition to his wife of 59 years, Marie, he is survived by his daughters, Kyra and Trené (son-in-law, Tim) granddaughters Lexie (husband Richard), and Savannah, and great-grandson,Tucker. He was predeceased by his parents Curtis Sr. and Angeline, and by his first daughter, Tarna.
A private graveside service was held earlier this week, with immediate family, per his wishes.
