Robert R. Gagnon, 58, of Somerset, Massachusetts passed away on April 9, 2023 surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Bob was the oldest son of Robert and Pauline (Arruda) Gagnon of Fall River.
He was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School, the College of the Holy Cross and UMass Dartmouth. He was a dedicated employee of Shawmut LLC where he continued to work throughout his health battle. As a child, Bob loved playing hockey and baseball. For several years he shared his love of those sports by coaching both hockey and softball teams locally.
Bob loved his family deeply and he is unconditionally loved by them. His memory will be cherished by them forever. Along with his parents, survivors include his daughters Grace Gagnon and Jocelyn Gagnon; his siblings Richard (Elizabeth) Gagnon, Lori (Anthony) Presley and Russell Gagnon; his niece Kailey Presley and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his beloved “Gramm” Irene Arruda and his cousins Wendy and Debbie.
At Bob’s request, his funeral services will be private.
