Judith “Judy” (Riordan) Kelley went to be with our Lord on the afternoon of April 12, 2023. She was 78 years old.
Judy was born in Everett, MA and was a long-time resident of Malden, MA where she lovingly raised her two sons in the Forestdale area. She took great pride in her 35-year career with United Airlines, which allowed her the opportunity to experience all the US and the world have to offer. In her later years, she left the harsh Massachusetts winters behind and retired with her sister to Surprise, AZ where she soaked up the bright sunshine on a daily basis. Judy’s sense of humor endeared her to all as she never let an opportunity pass without sharing a funny story which always seemed to end with the phrase, “To make a long story short,” after about 10 minutes. She will be dearly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Marguerite (Crowley) Riordan, her brother, Joseph Riordan, and sister Elizabeth Riordan. She is survived by her sons Brian Kelley and his wife Jennifer of Duxbury, MA and Scott Kelley and his wife Becky of Cypress, TX. Her grandchildren, Jillian & Brendan Kelley and Kaitlyn & Sam Kelley were her pride and joy.
Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden on Friday, April 21 at 11:00AM.
