Henrietta J. Guerriero, 88

Dateline: Mansfield, MA

Henrietta J. (Carmintrand) Guerriero, age 88, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Guerriero, Jr., to whom she was wed for over sixty-five years at the time of his death on March 23, 2022.

Born in Boston, MA on August 10, 1934, she was a loving daughter of the late Dante and Josephine (Calapai) Carmintrand.

Henrietta grew up in the South End of Boston and was educated in Boston Schools. Prior to retiring, she had worked as a cashier at Stop & Shop in Dedham and Mansfield, and when younger was employed at Corey’s Supermarket in Roslindale and as waitress at Sill’s Restaurant in Roslindale Square.

Mrs. Guerriero had made her home in Mansfield for the past seventeen years and was a former longtime resident of Walpole and Roslindale. Her family, whom she loved dearly, was the utmost of importance in Henrietta’s life. She was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Norton, enjoyed being a member and socializing with friends at the Norton Senior Center and trips to local casinos.

She was the devoted mother of Deborah Coakley of Norton, Paul Guerriero and his wife Michelle of Norton and the late Ralph Daniel Guerriero. She was the cherished grandmother of Michael, Kerrin, Sean, Dyana, Daniel and the great grandmother of Audrey, Adriana, Gabriella and Alex. She was the dear sister of the late Mary Bornstein, Josephine Carmintrand and is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, April 21st from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 22nd at 11:00 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 1 Power Street, Norton. Burial will follow at the Norton Common Cemetery in Norton.
