Obituary

On April 13, 2023 we lost the beautiful Katina Geneveive Skotis to injuries sustained during a tragic motorcycle accident. She did not suffer and spent her last moments with her beloved boyfriend Adam of 2.5 years. Born on September 18, 2002, 20 year old Katina resided in Litchfield, NH with her incredible, loving parents, MaryAnne Savani-Skotis and Bill Skotis. She was born and raised in Litchfield and graduated from Campbell High School in 2020.

Katina was the most kind, generous, and beautiful person inside and out. She was an avid hairstylist - always improving and always learning. She found her love for cosmetology in high school, successfully earning her license after an apprenticeship and starting her career at Mane & Muse Hair Studio. Her joy in helping people feel their best did not stay within the studio’s walls - she worked with brides and wedding parties to create and perfect the most beautiful braids and up-dos. When not developing new cosmetology skills or doing other creative arts and crafts, she could be found around town with her boyfriend and friends, or at home cuddled with her puppies Jessie and Nugget.

Since Katina was little, she would brighten every room she entered; telling stories, joking, and laughing as she spread joy and smiles to everyone she interacted with. She was the kind of person that brought the brightest light and energetic spirit to any room she walked into. Her passion for living life to the fullest was inspiring, and she genuinely cared for everyone she interacted with. Katina had big dreams, was so talented, and had an incredible amount of life left to live.

Katina’s kindness, creativity, and contagious laugh always made her presence so valued and enjoyed by her friends, family, and coworkers. While Katina’s time in this world was unfairly taken from her far too soon, the spirited energy and joy that she brought to this world will stick with everyone who’s ever crossed her path forever. The hole left in the hearts of those who love her is beyond repair, but her light, love, and smile will live on as we carry the happy memories of her with us forever.

In addition to her mother and father, she will continue to watch down on her brothers, Emanuel Skotis and his wife Veronica, and their son George of Burlington, MA; Robert Skotis of Cambridge, MA; Anthony Savani and his wife Diana, and their daughter Sofia of Windham, NH; and Billy Skotis and his long-time girlfriend Mackenzie of Windham, NH. She is also survived by a loving and supportive group of grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, coworkers, and friends. She joins her Nonno, YiaYia, Papu, uncle Sean, and uncle Mike who will welcome her with love in the afterlife.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 20th from 4pm– 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd, Londonderry, NH 03053. Please come and share the wonderful memories you have of Katina with friends and family.
