URBON, Linda Marie of West Roxbury. Born on January 6, 1950 and passed into God’s hands on April 16, 2023. She survived her late brother Alan C. Urbon and is survived by her sister, Shirley Anne Mariani. Linda has three nieces, Cara A. Mariani, Kerressey Urbon and Allison Urbon. Mary Espito and Barbara Kiszkan were life long friends/sisters.
Linda attended Girls Latin School and received her bachelors and masters degrees from Emmanuel College.
She retired from teaching in the Waltham public school system. Linda was an avid reader, quilt maker and enjoyed perfecting different forms of calligraphy.
There will be a celebration of life sometime in the near future. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Linda’s memory to Boston Children’s Hospital, 401 Park Dr. Suite 602, Boston, MA 02215.
