Obituary

Mary Elizabeth (Wooten) Kilduff, 97, of Franklin died April 15 peacefully at her home with her family beside her. She was the wife of the late Thomas W. Kilduff who died in 1982.

Born in Weymouth, June 8, 1925, the daughter of the late Alex and Clara (Brazil) Wooten, Mary was raised in East Weymouth and had lived in Franklin since 1963.

A graduate of the Lemuel Shattuck Nursing program, Mary had been a Registered Nurse at the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital and then the Medfield State Hospital from where she retired from.

Mary loved to collect Hummels and to attend Hummel conventions. She also enjoyed trips to the casinos, knitting and reading and was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Church for many years.

She is survived by her children Kevin Kilduff and his wife Sherry of Glendale, Arizona and Clare Kilduff of Franklin.

She was the mother of the late James Kilduff.

She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Susan Kilduff of Franklin.

Mary was the sister of the late George and James Wooten.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jason Kilduff and his wife Kim and Adam Kilduff and her great-grandchildren, Madison, Reagan and Jackson.

Her funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 19 in St. Mary’s Church, Franklin at 10:00. View livestream of Mass :

Burial in parish cemetery.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9:00-9:45 a.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin.
