Salvador Carlos Jr. (Sal), of Ventura, Ca, passed away at the age of 85 on April 10, 2023 in California. Salvador Carlos Jr. was born to Salvador Carlos and Gregoria Gomez Zavala on December 22, 1937 in Ventura, California. He enjoyed fishing, taking care of the many farm animals on his ranch, especially his horses, and hanging out with friends. He loved spending time outdoors with a horse close by him. In his early years, he loved to ride motorcycles. He also loved to ride his horse in the local parades and to barrel race. He was a dedicated Cement Mason (Foreman) for over 30 years.
Salvador Carlos Jr. is survived by his children: Ida Hernandez, Sal Carlos, Michelle Gibbs, and Lisa Marks. Grandchildren: Anthony Hernandez, Airyanne Carlos, Brittney Marks, Lauren Gibbs, Courtney Marks, Devin Gibbs, and Peyton Marks. Great Grandchild: Maya Hernandez. Sister, Eva Carlos. He is preceded in death by his father, Salvador Carlos, mother, Gregoria Gomez Zavala, and brother, Guadalupe Carlos. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Ventura County, 402 Bryant St., Ojai, Ca 93023.
