Maureen McGuire, beloved daughter of deceased parents Frank J. and Eleanor A. McGuire, passed away April 3, 2023 at Care Dimensions Hospice in Lincoln, MA. A vivacious spirit and gifted vocalist, Maureen worked as a legal secretary in Boston and volunteered at hospitals on the South Shore entertaining veterans to big band music and melodic torch songs. She is preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law Frank and Donna McGuire of Hopkinton as well as survived by sister and brother-in-law Eleanor and John Tufts of Bridgewater; sister Anne McGuire of Weymouth; brother and sister-in-law John and Karen McGuire of Plymouth; godmother Grace Power of Canton; nieces Jennifer, Christine, and Jonna Tufts; Heather McGuire Bourke and spouse Toby; Mary McGuire; Elizabeth Bennett and spouse Luke; Kathryn Weintraub; Victoria McGuire; and grandnieces Annabelle, Caroline, and Lily.
Family and friends are welcome to attend visitation and memorial services at Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, South Boston 02127 on Sunday, April 30th from 11 AM – 1 PM.
