Dorothy "Dottie" (Riordan) Watson, age 87 of Somerville MA, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on Tuesday Apr 11, 2023 after a brief illness.
Beloved wife of the late Peter, mother of William and Robert, and loving mother-in-law of Theresa (Davenport) and Jodi (Lehner). Also, the loving daughter of former Leo and Florence (Walsh) Riordan of Cambridge, and sister of Mary Goddard.
Dorothy was friendly and affectionate to all who knew her. She was a beloved mother to her sons, and a loving caregiver to many children over the years. She was loved by family, many friends, neighbors, and everyone she met.
A brief viewing will be held at St. Monica-St. Augustine Catholic Church, 331 Old Colony Ave, South Boston from 9:00-10:00AM on Tuesday April 18th, followed by a service at the Church at 10:00AM. After the service a burial is scheduled for 2:00PM at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
