Raymond L. Caron, 75, of Chester, NH, passed away Monday April 10, 2023, at his residence after a period of declining health. Ray was born October 6, 1947, in Lynn, MA and was a son of the late Roger and Marie (Beck) Caron. He was raised and educated in Peabody, MA and he graduated from Peabody High School in 1966. He had been a resident of Chester since 2016.
Ray was a 30-year veteran of the US Air Force, retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and spent most of his military service in South Korea. Ray loved the outdoors, motorcycling and gardening. He enjoyed fixing computers and audio equipment. Ray will long be remembered for loving his 2 dogs, Boy and Lovie.
Ray is survived by his three siblings and their spouses, Linda M. (Stanley) Tremblay, David R. (Catherine) Caron, and Steven B. (Betty) Caron, two nieces and two nephews, Matthew and Lauren Tremblay, Andrew Caron and Samantha Pelegrini. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Lee Caron.
Calling hours will be Tuesday April 18, 2023, from 2 to 4pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium 15 Birch Street Derry, NH and will conclude with military honors.
