Marilyn Glenn Bush of San Antonio, Texas, passed into peaceful rest by Heaven’s grace on April 10, 2023. Marilyn’s beautiful smile and generous spirit will be treasured as a gift to all whose hearts she has touched. A kind word for all, she was an angel on Earth.
She was surrounded by the loving devotion of her family as her wings carried her to reunite with many beloved souls who passed and patiently watched over her, including her parents, LTC Harold Bernard and Mildred Glenn Bush, also of San Antonio, TX.
Her daughters, Angelique Islip of Franklin, MA and Yvette Benson of New Orleans, LA with her husband, James Benson, and five grandchildren: Garreth and Ryan Islip and Lauren, Lindsey and Hayden Benson will remain under Marilyn’s watchful care until they join her in Heaven one day.
Marilyn enjoyed bowling, puzzles, playing the accordion, listening to Alice Cooper and Johnny Depp movies. While attending high school, she was on the track team and was a majorette, where she excelled in baton twirling.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours Friday April 14th, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 4-6PM.
A prayer service will be held at 5:30PM.
Following services, a reception will be held at the Rome Restaurant 4 East Central St. Franklin.
