Peter W. Rowe, lifelong resident of Brockton, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 3, 2023. He was 66 years old.
Son of the late Marion (Rowe) Bagley, Peter was born and raised in Campello. Peter developed a strong work ethic quite early in life. He held odd jobs as a teen until he began his career at age 17 as a welder at Dynisco, where he worked for over 40 years. In his youth, Peter enjoyed riding dirt bikes as well as playing darts and the card game 45. Peter was also an avid lover of animals (especially fish and dogs) and classic rock music. We can’t decide what we’ll miss most: Peter’s signature dance moves, his unique expressions, or his unmatched comedic timing. We’d share some examples, but they would definitely be censored.
Peter is survived by his wife of more than 43 years, Paula; daughter Holly and partner Kevin Markham; sons Dennis and Daniel; daughter Crystal and husband Cory Lacey; sister Maryann Bagley and brother Colin Bagley; 4 beautiful grandchildren, and 8 cherished nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his loving in-law family the Lutzes, Matt LaBlue who was like a son to him, and many treasured friends including Paul “Tee” Tatro.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 4-7 pm, with a time of sharing reflections at 6:15 pm, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. His funeral will begin on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 10:00 am, followed by his funeral service at 10:30 am, in the funeral home. Interment will be in Melrose Cemetery.
