Maureen E. (Demers) Webb, age 67, a former longtime resident of Mansfield and North Attleboro, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her adoring family on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at the Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Easton. She was the wife of Stewart W. Webb.
Born in Attleboro, MA on April 6, 1955, she was a loving daughter of the late Peter J. Demers, Sr. and Mary E. (Fahey) Demers-Pierce.
Maureen grew up in Mansfield and was a 1973 graduate of Mansfield High School. She had worked for many years as a data processor for MassHealth and previously at the Foxboro Co.
Maureen’s family, whom she loved dearly, were truly the focal point of her life. A woman of deep faith, she was actively involved as a member of the Chartley United Methodist Church in Norton and proudly served the Mansfield Community as a former member of the Mansfield Civil Defense. Her hobbies included spending time at the beach and gardening.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted children: Shawn Webb and his wife Merranda of Providence, Michael Webb and his wife Sara of North Attleboro and Leigh-Ann Webb of North Attleboro. She was the cherished grandmother of Bailey, Lucas, Wyatt, Lillian, Owen, Aden and Lyric. She was the dear sister of Deborah Demers-Peel and her wife Virginia of Norton, AnneMarie Sorrow of Foxborough, Peter Demers, Jr. and his wife Pauline of North Attleboro, Katherleen Demers of Sandwich, Thomas Demers and his Terry of Marlborough, New Hampshire and the late Daniel Demers. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a service in celebration of her life on Saturday, April 22nd at 11:00 A.M. in the Chartley United Methodist Church 78 South Worcester Street in Norton.
Visitation will be held prior to the services on Saturday morning beginning at 10:00 A.M. in the church.
In lieu of flowers. Maureen’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to the Chartley United Methodist Church, 78 South Worcester Street, Norton, MA 02766.
