Christopher John Stobbart “Stoby”, 54, of Woonsocket formerly of Franklin died suddenly April 2 at the family home. He was the husband of LauraJean Armstrong.
He was born in Milford on February 15, 1969. He was the son of Jan B. Stello of Seekonk and the late Jackie “Stoby” Stobbart. Christopher was raised in Franklin and had lived in Pawtucket and Central Falls, Rhode Island before moving to Woonsocket seven years ago.
Christopher had been an entrepreneur. He enjoyed riding his dirt bike, fishing and boating. Most of all, Christopher enjoyed motorcycle rides with LauraJean.
Christopher loved taking his two dogs, Hondo and Midge for rides in the truck. He was a loyal friend, known for his big heart, and loved by many.
In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by his step-children, Cianna Silbor, wife of Jason Silbor of Blackstone, Natalia DeLucia, fiancé of Matty Deluca of Bellingham, Sonja DeLucia, girlfriend of Alex Correia of Warwick, and Kaley Faucher of North Kingston. He was known by his grandchildren Emery and Ethan as Big Papa. Also, his grandmother Alberta Stello. Loving nephew of Bruce Stello, Curt Stello and his wife Kathy, and Pamela Stello. Also survived by cousins Janine Medeiros, James Stello, and Torrin Mullen.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 12 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street in Franklin from 4-7 p.m. with a service to be held at the conclusion of the celebration.
