Mr. Abela Matador passed away at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on April 3, 2023, at the age of 72. He was surrounded by his daughter Nathatia Matador and her husband Bethony St. Philippe. Abela was born in Jacmel, Haiti on May 26, 1951. His parents Andrelia Vandale and Albert Matador gave birth to him as their 7th child amongst all his brothers and sisters.
Abela loved cars and worked as a car mechanic for most of his life.
He is survived by his daughter Nathatia Matador, Achena Matador, Pakita Prophete, Marieline Prophete, Frantz Matador, Makington Matador, and Jefferson Matador.
Loving grandfather of Amanda Prophete, Jonathan Prophete, Alexa Prophete, Sarah Prophete, Michel Prophete, Christine Prophete, Aisha StPhilippe, Bernat StPhillippe, Jhonysha Matador, Karmalia Matador, Frantzy Matador, Hemylly Matador, Jeremiah Matador, Ashley Matador, Armani Matador, Kenny Matador, Kenton Matador, and Mackington Matador, Jr.
Visitation will be held at the Tabernacle Baptist Congregation, 575 American Legion Highway, Roslindale, MA on Saturday April 15, 2023 from 8:30am to 9:30am followed by the Funeral Service. Burial in St. Michael Cemetery 500 Canterbury Street Roslindale.
