WORCESTER___Krystyna Snopko, 91, of Worcester, died peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2023 surrounded by her family.
Krystyna was born on May 25, 1931 in Lubartow, Poland. Krystyna emigrated to the United States in 1981. While living in Poland she worked as an accounting director and after coming to Worcester she worked at St. Vincent Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Walter who passed away in 1989. She was also predeceased by 5 siblings.
Krystyna had an adventurous spirit, she loved to travel but most of all, she cherished people in her life, always willing to lend a hand to anyone. She enjoyed spending time with her family and generously opened her home to many family members emigrating from Poland or just visiting. She played a significant role in many people’s lives and will be greatly missed by her family. Krystyna leaves behind a sister in Poland and many nieces and nephews in the Worcester area as well as in Poland.
Krystyna, you will always hold a special place in our hearts. Your kindness and endless love will never be forgotten.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 4-6 PM in HENRY – DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday April 5, 2023 with a Mass at 10:30 AM in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, followed by entombment at Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
