Robbie Freeman, 72, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at her daughter’s residence in Tifton, Georgia.
Memorial services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Fellowship Baptist Church in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Robert Couey officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, from 4 PM until 6 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Ms. Freeman was born April 11, 1950, in Pensacola, Florida, to the late Charles Robert & Mary Louise King Bainbridge. She graduated from Sidney Lanier High School, attended Jacksonville State University and earned her RN Degree from South Georgia State College. Ms. Freeman was an RN for over 30 years at Dorminy Medical Center and retired working in same day surgery. Ms. Freeman loved the beach, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved life and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters: Karen Lott & Roger of Tifton and Kelly Norton of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Lauren & Austin Diakogiannis, Rylan Lott, Zakkari Lott, Matthew Fitzgerald, Madison Rogers and Nathan Norton; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, John Bainbridge of Pensacola, Florida; and her best friend Susan Bryant.
