Robert J. DiCarlo, age 79 of Brockton, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at AccentCare Hospise Inpatient Center in Milton.
Born and raised in Boston, he was the son of the late Joseph and Edna (Quinlan) DiCarlo.
Bob worked as a diesel mechanic and was a member of the Teamsters Local Union 25.
He was meticulous when caring for his lawn and home. An advocate for keeping crime away from his neighborhood, he participated in Brockton Neighborhood Crime Watch. Bob loved all the New England sports teams.
Robert was personable and looked out for others. He was a hard worker who took care of his family. Mr. DiCarlo did it his way right to the end. He was very independent and relied on no one.
Bob is survived by his son, Robert J. DiCarlo and his wife Traci of Rochester, NH; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Priscilla A. Fountaine.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Robert’s family on Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. Interment will be private.
