Christopher Mark Joubert, 34 of Hooksett, NH passed away due to a battle with cancer on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at the Jack Byrne Center at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. Chris was born in Nashua, NH on July 23, 1988, the son of Douglas Joubert and Teresa Lee.
Chris was a graduate of the class of 2007 at Souhegan High School in Amherst, NH. He enjoyed all things the great outdoors has to offer, especially hunting, camping, and fishing. Chris delighted in both dirt and mountain biking, going to local breweries, and country music concerts. He would spend his free time woodworking and sampling rare bourbons – although not at the same time. Chris’ favorite colors were blue and orange, and you could almost always guarantee he would show up wearing something with Fox Racing or a flannel shirt in these colors, and he would definitely have his Oakley sunglasses and his favorite camo ball cap with fishing hook on the brim.
Chris was a member of Granite State Subarus and frequented 603 Performance & Maintenance in Londonderry as he often would spend time customizing his own Subaru. One of Chris’ biggest loves was his love for dogs. The love he had for his dog Sky, was beyond compare.
Chris leaves behind his greatest love of all, his wife, Shannon, the daughter of Scott and Nancy Livingstone. Shannon and Chris shared a once-in-a-lifetime kind of love for almost 12 years.
Chris is survived by his father, Douglas (Cheryl) Joubert, mother, Teresa Lee, older sister, Stephanie (Brandon) Allen and treasured niece, Jocelyn. Chris will also be remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his friends that became family.
All who were lucky to meet him, will miss him dearly.
Chris was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH 03053. Prayers will be offered at 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, at Chris’s request, memorial donations in his name can be made to a local animal charity of your choosing.
