Obituary

Paul Henry Loffler, 81, of Londonderry, NH, passed away Sunday March 26, 2023, in Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. He was born on March 30, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY, a son of the late Paul and Sophie (Schmuck) Loffler, and had been a resident of Londonderry for the past four years formerly living in Derry for many years.

Paul served with the US Army during the Vietnam War. He and his wife owned and operated Smart Toys in Derry for 17 years. He enjoyed travel, reading, and loved spending time with his family. Paul was an active member of the Derry Lions Club and enjoyed offering service to the community. He was a member of the Friends of the Library, and the Community Care Givers of Greater Derry where he served on the board of directors.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Davis “Deede” (McCann) Loffler of Londonderry, one daughter, Susan Hickey of Londonderry, and his granddaughter, Emma Hickey of Londonderry, several nieces, nephews and his brother-in-law, Hal McCann and his wife Becky of South Carolina. He was predeceased by his sister, Anita Loffler.

Following cremation, the family plans to hold private services at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Caregivers of Greater Derry, 6 West Broadway, Unit 6, Derry, NH 03038. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
