Rachel was the loving wife of the late, Albert J. Marineau, with whom she shared over 40 years of marriage before they were separated by his passing. She is survived by her children Angela J. (Marineau) Murphy (widow of Edward P. Murphy, Jr.) and Raymond A. Marineau and his wife Kimberly (Turosh) Marineau, her grandchildren, Corey S. Mandigo, Samuel A. Marineau, Olivia J. Murphy, and Grace E. Marineau, her sister Ellen (Dubois) Allen and her husband Keith Allen, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Rachel was a resident of Candia, New Hampshire, for many years. She spent her winters in Clearwater, Florida. Rachel grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire and graduated from Manchester West High School. She raised her family with Albert in Goffstown, New Hampshire.
Rachel worked for over 35 years at Osram Sylvania until her early retirement when she and Albert decided to head south to Florida for the winters. She was a Girl Scout all through school and later a troop leader for the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the Amoskeag Quilters Guild.
Rachel was an accomplished seamstress and quilter. An immensely creative person she was a loyal friend, a loving wife, and wonderful and supportive mother and grandmother. She had a quick wit and great sense of humor. She has now joined Albert and we are sure they are taking a scenic motorcycle ride.
