LIMINGTON- Theodore “Ted” Angus Mowatt Sr, age 90, passed away on March 27, 2023, unexpectedly at his home.
He was born in Bridgton, Maine on January 5, 1933, a son of the late Arthur and Gladys Mowatt Sr.
Ted proudly served in the army during the Korean Conflict as a paratrooper in the 82nd airborne.
Upon returning home from the armed forces, he married the love of his life - Betty Bennett in January of 1956.
For 45 years he worked at Saunders Brothers in Westbrook, Maine.
He enjoyed spending time with his family. Especially Friday night pizza nights at his pool. He loved listening to country music, dancing with his wife, and taking naps with his dog Mable.
He is predeceased by his parents Arthur and Gladys Mowatt Sr, wife Betty Mowatt, brothers Gordon Mowatt, Hartley Mowatt, Arthur Mowatt Jr, Donald Mowatt, Cecil Mowatt, Stanley Mowatt, sisters Muriel Sargent, Marilyn Currie, son-in-law Dana Gordon Sr, and grandson Bruce Mowatt ll.
He is survived by his daughter Robyn Gordon of Limington, sons Theodore Mowatt JR of Limington, Russell Mowatt of Limington, Bruce Mowatt l and his wife Doreen of Standish, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
