Ralph Tunene Jackson was born to the late Ralph S Jackson of Asbury Park New Jersey, and Jacqueline Maxine Jackson of Savannah Georgia on, August 27th 1958 in Boston Ma. God called Tunene home on March 13th 2023. After a long fighting battle.
Ralph graduated from Dorchester High School where he was a star on the the football team. He also played in a forty-five and over basketball league at the Shelburne Community Center. The team was called the Nicks. He was a outstanding athlete in any sport he played. Anyone that knew Tunene knew he was real competitive and didn’t like to lose. He received many awards for different things.
On August 27th, 2008 Ralph married the love of his life Andraya Jackson, He loved this family. He was a family person for real. Tunene showed up for everything with his clothes coordinated and he couldn’t forget his hat. When you hear a certain whistle you knew he was around.
Ralph had his battle with addiction and wanted to give back to his community, so he worked at the Dimock Recovery Center as a councilor for many year. He also worked in the union for Local 33 as a Carpenter. He worked on the big dig and many other projects where he left his legacy throughout the city. Tunene had a heart of gold. He would help anyone, anywhere, anytime.
Ralph Tunene is preceded in death by Cora Lee Price (mums), parents Ralph and Jacqueline Jackson, brothers Earl Kendricks, Theodore Jackson, Michael Jackson, son Ralph Toney and grandson Kyzr Toney
Ralph Tunene leaves to cherish his memories his Wife Andraya Jackson, his kids Teran Jackson, Jacqueline Jackson, Tunene Jackson, Sinahra Jackson and Jervhan Jackson. His one and only sister Lavonne Jackson a host of relatives and friends.
Tunene will be missed by all who loved and knew him!!
