Wendy Anne Watson, of Derry, NH, passed away peacefully March 25, 2023 with her family by her side.
Wendy graduated from Bourne High School class of 1975 and went on to Endicott College in Beverly, MA where she received a degree in Hotel, Tourism Management. She continued her education with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Colby-Sawyer College in New London, NH class of 1979. Wendy was a stay-at-home mom and had been previously employed by Pinkerton Academy as a Special Education Assistant. She loved her children and working with the kids she supported. She was a very caring, kind, and generous person. She was a lover of animals, especially her three cats. She enjoyed spending time on the beaches from Cape Cod to Maine. She also enjoyed playing the piano, skiing, sending cards to friends and family and never missed a day to shop for a new handbag.
Wendy is survived by her husband, James L. Watson III, her son, Tyler James Watson, and her daughter, Samantha Lian Watson. She is also survived by one sister, Beth Ardaiolo and husband Jim, and their children, Jamie, and Robbie; one aunt, Mildred Vigneault; her mother-in-law, Doris Zinno; her father-in-law, James Watson Jr., and wife Shirley; a sister-in-law, Mila Breton, and husband Brian; and two nieces, Danica Cialone and husband John; and Alena Breton. She was predeceased by her parents Marion James and Eleanor Ann (Bagg) Moreland.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Joslin Diabetics Center, 1 Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215
