Steven Michael Foley, Sr., age 60, of Medford passed on Tuesday, March 21st. Raised and educated in Medford, he was the son of the late Frederick and Agnes Marie (Coughlin) Foley. Steven graduated from Medford High School. He knew from when he was a teenager riding with “Uncle Mickey” in long tractor-trailer rides delivering Prince macaroni that his goal was to someday get his Class A license. He reached that goal and drove from Bangor, ME to New Jersey - and loved it! Steven was a no-nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is guy; the rock of the family. He loved family get-togethers, barbeques and especially holidays. Steven was the former owner of Best Snack Company in Medford.
Steven was the beloved husband of 30 years to Eileen Lisa (Farrell) Foley and the devoted father of Kelly, Stevie Jr., and Erika. He was the loving grandfather of Jamaine, Mya and Aria, and BFF of Mr. Roy, who never left his side.
A funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Tuesday, March 28th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family on Monday, March 27th from 4 through 7 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in Steven’s name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorials Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
