Ann E. McAuliffe, 88

Ann E. (O’Hara) McAuliffe, age 88, of Milford, a former longtime resident of Foxborough and Dedham, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul C. McAuliffe, to whom she was wed for nearly sixty-five years at the time of his death on April 2, 2021.
Born in Boston, MA on June 29, 1934, she was a loving daughter of the late George and Anna (Lane) O’Hara.
Ann grew up and was educated in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston and was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy in Roxbury.
A dedicated homemaker to her adoring family, Ann had made her home in Milford for the past two years and was a former twenty-seven-year resident of Foxborough. She was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Foxborough and enjoyed reading, playing Mahjong with friends and when younger golfing.
She was the devoted mother of Theresa A. Stiles of Milford and her late husband William Stiles and the late Paul S. McAuliffe, who is survived by his wife Christine McAuliffe of Old Orchard Beach, Maine. She was the cherished grandmother of Annmarie Stiles, William Stiles and his wife Ashley, Heath McAuliffe, Sarah McAuliffe, Tom McAuliffe, Ben McAuliffe and the great grandmother of Luke McAuliffe and Kian McAuliffe. She was the dear sister of Mary McAuliffe of Franklin and the late George O’Hara. She was the loving aunt of William McAuliffe and Mariann Walsh.
Her Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated in Saint Mary’s Church, 58 Carpenter Street, Foxborough on Tuesday, March 28th at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Foxborough.
Visitation will be held prior to the Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
