Ramona Ann LeBeau, 66, of Worcester died Saturday, March 18th in UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus. She leaves a daughter, Laura (Lamarche) Mayotte and her husband, Todd of Leicester; and a niece, Arielle Berti. She also leaves seven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Ernest F. Lamarche, III; and the father of her children, Ernest F. Lamarche, Jr.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Raymond K. and Eleanor B. (Piszczaka) LeBeau and graduated from North High School and attended Worcester State College. Ramona raised three of her grandchildren as if they were her own for the past 11 years. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the transcriber for several years. Ramona was a member of St. Stephen’s Church, as a devout Catholic she instilled her beliefs in her grandchildren always making sure they attended weekly Mass and catechism, giving them the opportunity to explore their faith. She loved to spend time at the beach and was an avid plant collector. Ramona enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cooking, and baking, specifically birthday cakes for her grandchildren.
She was the best grandmother and will be dearly missed.
Her funeral is Friday, March 24th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 1:00 p.m. in St. Stephen’s Church, 357 Grafton Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
