Worcester, MA—Raymond L. Johnson, Jr., 77, died Thursday, June 1, 2006, at the Princeton Community Hospital, Princeton, WV. He leaves his wife of 42 years, Anna Johnson of Auburn; a daughter, Anna Webster of Auburn; 3 sons, Raymond L. Johnson of NH, Robert Johnson and David P. Johnson (and his wife Elaine) all of Oxford; 2 sisters, Mary Danieley of Speedway, WV and Shirley Gay Totten of Princeton, WV; 10 grandchildren, Ed & Anna Yetkie, Brandon, Alicia & Cassandra Johnson, Liam, Calista, Kristin, Sherri Lee, & Jeremiah Johnson; and 3 great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Emma, & Kayla. A son, John Johnson; a brother, James Hercey; and 2 sisters, Mary Ramona Robinett and Helen Marler, predeceased him. He was born in West Virginia, son of Raymond L. Johnson, Sr. and Alma Crockett Johnson Hercey. He retired from the WRTA in Worcester and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Raymond lived in Worcester until moving to Princeton, WV in 1998.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 8, at St. George Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Anna Street. A calling hour will be held at 10:00 a.m. in the Church followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
