THORNTON ---- Dorothy Marie Corridan, 81, of Hidden Acres Road, died Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at her residence.
Dorothy was born on December 29, 1941, in Dorchester, MA, daughter of the late Aston and Agnes Stevens.
Dorothy was best known by her loved ones and friends as Grammie. She was a horticulturist; mulching, mixing and pruning her days away in the warm sun in her beautiful rose garden. She also had a love for birds. When she moved to New Hampshire, she was gifted with a book by dear friends, Scott and Jeno Allen, detailing the sound of every bird known to mankind. She often listened to their beautiful songs confirming she had just heard the same bird outside. Every single Saturday at 4pm Grammie awaited the call of her grandson Timmy. They shared their weekly activities and prayed together. If there is a life ever after where we rejoin with loved ones who have passed, may she join with her husband, daughter, mother, father, brothers, sisters, and friends in many joyful reunions.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Edward Corridan and his fiancé Lisa McCarthy Tigger, and Frank Corridan; grandson, Timmy Donovan; sister, Barbara Stevens (Lord); and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will take place at her residence in the warmer months.
