Caroline C. Swanson, 76, of Derry, NH, died Sunday, March 12, 2023 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 21, 1946 in Boston, MA, a daughter of the late Bryan and Myrtle (Gill) Duffy. She had been a resident of Derry for the past 22 years, formerly living in Londonderry, NH. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Carol also enjoyed spending time at the beach and going to the movies. You could always hear Carol reminiscing about simpler times.
She is survived by three daughters, Lisa Cummings and her husband Shawn of Londonderry, Linda Briand of Derry, and Joyce Rowe and her husband Bryan of Derry; five grandchildren; one great grandson; two sisters, Louise Turner of Hanson, MA, and Doreen Going of Nashua, NH as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl Swanson in 1995, and her brother, Bryan Duffy.
A graveside service will be held in the Spring in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Memorial contributions may be made to the NHSPCA, PO Box 196, Stratham, NH 03885. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry are assisting the family with the arrangements.
