Alphe L. Viens, 87, of Manchester, NH, died Sunday, March 12, 2023, in Bel Air Nursing Home, Goffstown, NH. He was born on December 14, 1935, in Quebec, Canada a son of Victor and Lydia (Tardif) Viens.
He is survived by his partner, Anita Patient; son, Richard Viens of Coaticook, Canada; four daughters, Irene Duguay of Londonderry, Carmen Sarver of Townsend, MA, Loise Sapiel of Newport, NH, and Nancy Repko of Chester Springs, PA; ten grandchildren;, ten great-grandchildren; brother, Camille Viens of Nashua, NH; eight sisters, Monique Dube of Nashua, Racheal Lambert of St. Hermenegile, QC, Claudette Viens of Coaticook, Jeannette Viens of Coaticook, Jeanne D'Arc L'Etoile of Litchfield, NH, Madeleine Gorden of Fort Pierce, FL, Anita Pariseau of Fort Pierce, FL, and Diane Reardon of Raymond, NH as well as many nieces and nephews.
Alphe is predeceased by four brothers, Andre, Adolphe, Ferrier, and Gilles Viens and one sister Therese Vallee.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Memorial service will follow at 2:30 pm in the funeral home.
