Gracia A. "Grace" (Poirier) Nanopoulos, 91, of New Bedford died Friday, March 10, 2023 at Tremont Rehabilitation after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Constantine T. "Charlie" Nanopoulos.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Armand and Delisca (Picard) Poirier, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
Grace enjoyed square dancing, warm weather, being in the sunshine, her years spent living in Florida, going out to eat and, above all else, having her family around her.
She is survived by her son, Mark C. Nanopoulos and his companion Beverly Navarro of New Bedford; two grandsons, Ross Nanopouolos and Matthew Nanopoulos and his wife Melissa; two great-grandsons, Cooper and Cade; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Azella Lebeau Laliberte and Theresa Simmons.
Her Funeral will be held on Tuesday March 21, 2023 at 9 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Mass at St. Julie Billiart Church at 10 AM.
