West Boylston – Raymond J. LeBlanc, 79, of West Boylston, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023 in the UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus after a brief illness.
Mr. LeBlanc is survived by his wife of 57 years, Charlotte (Calderwood) LeBlanc; Three sons, Richard LeBlanc and his wife, Jacqueline of Boylston, Raymond LeBlanc and his wife, Tracy of Anchorage, AK, Scott LeBlanc and his wife, Tracy of Dudley; a sister, Lucienne Gustafson of Worcester; 8 grandchildren, Darron, Rachel, Amber, Stephen, Cassandra, Katherine, Nicole and Brooke and many nephews and nieces.
Ray was born in Worcester, son of the late Wilfred and Antoinette (Allard) LeBlanc and is also predeceased by a son, Shawn LeBlanc; three brothers, Roger, Henry and Rene LeBlanc and two sisters, Theresa O’Connor and Marie Greene.
Mr. LeBlanc graduated from the former Worcester Boy’s Trade High School in Worcester. Ray worked for many years with the Digital Company and Coughlin Electrical before owning and operating with his wife, the Nashoba Valley Ambulance Service. Mr. LeBlanc continued to work various jobs in the electrical field for many years until he fully retired.
He was a member of Greendale People’s Church in Worcester and had a fun-loving contagious personality. Ray always loved a good game of cribbage and would never pass up the opportunity to go see a good movie, but most of all he was truly the happiest when he was spending time with his family or traveling with his wife to Alaska.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 15 at 11 AM in Greendale People’s Church 25 Francis Street Worcester. Burial will be at a later date with burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
