June P. Goyette, 85

Dateline: Norton, MA

June P. (Lowden) Goyette, of Norton, formerly of Mansfield and Sharon passed away peacefully, in the presence of her loving family on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the beloved wife of Joseph R. Goyette, to whom she was wed for forty-nine years.

Born in Boston, MA on February 24, 1938, she was a loving daughter of the late John Lowden, Sr. and Lillian (Rapp) Lowden-Leighton.

June grew up in Sharon and was a 1956 graduate of Sharon High School. Prior to retiring, she worked as an administrative assistant for British Petroleum in Mansfield. She was formerly employed at the former Blane Chemical Company in Mansfield and when younger, worked as an operator for the Bell Telephone Company.

A resident of Norton for the past thirty-four years, June’s favorite times were those surrounded by family and was especially happiest when her grandchildren were by her side. She was an avid golfer and a former longtime member of the Foxborough Country Club. June enjoyed many happy winters spent with her husband Joe in Beverly Hills, Florida, loved gardening and had a special place in her heart for animals.

In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her devoted children: Richard T. Beckwith, Jr. and his wife Anne Marie of Crystal Lake, Illinois, Donna M. Conrad and her husband James of Perry, Georgia, Cynthia A. Beckwith of Norton and Michael J. Goyette and his wife Kerry-Ann of Taunton. She was the dear sister of the late Robert Lowden, Dorothy Mixer, Zaida Sumner, John Lowden and Mary Conlon. She is also survived by her cherished 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, as well as her loving nieces and nephews.

Services and burial will be private.

Visiting hours are omitted and those wishing may remember June with a donation in her memory made to Our Daily Bread ~ Mansfield Food Pantry, 15A West Street, Mansfield, MA 02048.
