Dolores R. Capotosto, of Peabody and a longtime resident of Somerville and Medford, passed away February 14, 2023, at the age of 88. Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late Saverio and Assunta (Lampassi) Capotosto.
Dolores worked for many years with the Shawmut Bank of Boston. She had many dear friends and together they loved to travel the world. Dolores was also a lover of the Arts and enjoyed going to the opera. She cherished her family and spending time with them as often as she could. In her leisure time Dolores enjoyed knitting Afghans and writing short stories. She will be greatly missed.
Dolores is survived by her niece Leslie Ryan of Chicopee, great nieces Megan Ryan of Wakefield and Michelle Ryan of Chicopee, cousins, extended family and dear friends. In addition to her late parents, Dolores is predeceased by her sister, Elizabeth Sarcia and her husband Anthony formerly of Woburn, and niece Carol Sarcia formerly of Medford.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial prayer service conducted in the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Thursday, March 23rd, at 11 a.m. and may visit with the family prior to the service beginning at 10:30 a.m. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
