Phuoi Huynh, 61, of Orlando, Florida died Saturday, March 4th in AdventHealth East Hospital. He leaves his children, Kwong Hoang, San Hoang, and Jimmy Hoang all of Worcester; a brother, Khau Huynh of Shrewsbury; three sisters, Muoi Huynh of Worcester, Le Vuong of Birmingham, AL, and Candee Wong of South Hadley, MA; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his cat, “Con”.
He was born in Rach Gia, Vietnam the son of Kim Huynh and Kinh Dam. Phuoi immigrated to the United States in 1980 and graduated from Burncoat High School. He enjoyed spending his time singing, listening to music, painting landscapes and finding great deals at the local flea market. Phuoi was a humble man who was always caring for others. His favorite pastime was gardening and tending to his fruit trees on his 2-acre property, always mailing the fruits he picked back home to his family. Phuoi had several jobs prior to moving to Orlando and currently worked as an operator and technician at Kaman Precision Products.
His funeral is Thursday, March 9th from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester followed by his visitation until 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster Street, Worcester.
