Millbury__Joseph E. DiLeo, 64, of Millbury died on February 9, 2023 in UMass Memorial Hospital, University Campus after a brief illness. He is survived by his siblings, Annette Pettis and her husband Dennis of Lilburn, GA, Helen Wesloski and her husband James of Bluffton, SC and Damian DiLeo of East Millbury along with nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester a son of Joseph P. and Helen M. (Kulak) DiLeo and lived in East Millbury most of his life.
Joseph graduated from Millbury Memorial High School and continued his education at Central New England College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He had degrees in Computer Science and Design. Joe worked as a system analyst for Chase Paper Company prior to opening his business “ Beautiful Things” catering to brides. His artistic talent and creativity helped many with design and décor for weddings. In his younger years, he was an accomplished figure skater and enjoyed teaching as well. His love of family brought him to be the caretaker for his mother until her passing.
A calling hour will be in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 2:00- 3:30pm followed by a memorial service in the funeral home.
