Jaden Karim Cromer, 20, of Tifton, passed away Friday, March 3, 2023, at Tift Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2023, in the Sanctuary of Tifton’s First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Riggs officiating. Jaden will be laid to rest at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2023, at New Pine Grove Cemetery, 5759 Frank Sessoms Memorial Parkway, Homerville, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Colby Grant, Tanner Massey, Danny Roberts, Chase Wiley, Christian Chavez and Russ Hedgecock will serve as pallbearers.
Born March 15, 2002, in Valdosta, Jaden was the son of Tina Lynn Strickland of Tifton and Kareem Cromer of Valdosta. He graduated from Tift County High School in 2020 and he was employed with Powerhouse Outdoor Structures in Tifton. He was a member of Tifton Missionary Baptist Church. He was very sweet and loving and he loved soccer and golf. He was a practical joker and smiled all the time. He loved to dance and listen to music. He loved his family and friends very much.
In addition to his parents, Jaden is survived by his siblings, Christian Cromer, Joshua Cromer, Rakema Cromer, Ka’laisha Cromer and Sunjai’ Cromer; his grandparents, Nancy Strickland of Tifton, Tony and Charlene Strickland of Homerville, Roy and Debra Cromer of Ohio and Mary and Virgil Foster of Tifton; his maternal aunts and uncles, Derek and Erica Strickland of Homerville and Leanna and Robbie Cornelius of Marietta; his paternal aunts and uncles, Lisa Cromer-Byrd, Keleen Cromer, Reisha Cromer, Tal Cromer and Royce Cromer; several cousins; and a host of other relatives and loving friends.
