Kenny Maria Abreu Bello of Winthrop passed away on March 1, 2023, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on November 25, 1966. Kenny was raised and educated in the Dominican Republic and attended Santo Domingo School and university Catolica Madre y Maestra (UCAMAIMA) where she studied tourism. She moved to the Boston area when she was 29 years old. Kenny worked for many years at American Airlines.
Kenny loved her family, friends and her work at American Airlines. She took much pride in her work and cherished the friendships she made over the years. She considered her coworkers her extended family. Kenny loved talking, going out to restaurants, and spending time outside.
She was predeceased by her parents Hector Rafael Abreu and Norka Mercedes Bello Andino.
Kenny leaves her beloved Robert Sweeney, his daughters Julie, Robin, and Laurie,, and grandchildren Nikola and Sophia. Brothers Hector Abreu Bello and Idy Adolphus Bello. Uncles and aunts Rafael Bello Andino, Rosemary Lightbourne Bello, Gladys Bello Tezanos, Candito Tezanos, and Nellie Bello Andino. Nieces and nephews Pamela, Patrick, Michael, and Nicholas as well as numerous cousins, family members and friends.
The family will receive family and friends Thursday, March 9th from 4-7 at the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden, Massachusetts.
