Dean C. Wesson, 81, of Worcester, died Thursday, March 2nd in St, Vincent Hospital. He is survived by his husband of 30 years, Bruce T. Sanger; two sons, Darren Wesson and his wife, Michelle of Worcester and David Wesson of Shrewsbury; his daughter, Darlyn Bezdegian and her husband, Richard of Shrewsbury; his sister, Leona Mills of Duncansville, PA, four grandchildren, Tyler, Griffin, Dylan and Sofia Wesson; a niece, Debra; and three nephews, Scott, Guy, and Jon. He was predeceased by a brother, Clarke D. Wesson, Jr. and a sister, Judith Grahn,
Born in Worcester, Dean was the son of Clarke D. Wesson, Sr. and Alice M. (Shepherd) Wesson. He graduated from Shrewsbury High School in 1959 and Labaron Hairdressing Academy in 1963. Dean had worked as a self-employed hair stylist for many years until he retired from Sebouh’s. He enjoyed trips to the casino, trips to the beach and the company of his cats, Sammy and Sabrina. He will be remembered as an accomplished pianist and had played at the former El Morocco and Charles Restaurants and at the Park Plaza in Boston. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, March 9th with a service at 11:00 a.m. in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service.
